All though some agree on a free health care, many disagree and say it is a privilege not a right. Many people say that if health care became a right it would increase the United States debt. The republican passed Medicare Act of 2003 making medicare profitable for health insurance companies. With this act people should be able to purchase health insurance at a cheaper price. Without people being able to purchase it, Americans watch people die but at the same time watch the prices go up for vital drugs that fight deadly diseases. People should not have to watch a family member or someone they know and care about die because they can not afford health insurance.
