Should we have a designer baby?

I think families should be able to have "designer babies" where the genes of the baby are chosen. There are four main reasons. First, this is a very interesting technology. We should try it, since people can choose what their babies to be like. Secondly, this is a big step of improving in the science area. There is no such thing before. We should let the families try this and see how it goes. If it works, we can put this technology on then other animals. It might help us to get earn more money by making the animal bigger or stronger, since people eat meat and use animals to work for them. Also, it can help people to save the money of paying the vets by not letting the animals get sick. Third, it can help the babies to have a happy and healthy lives. A happy and healthy life is very important to everyone. Although it might fail, we still can improve the technology by trying a lot of times to make it perfect. However, we should test a lot of time on animals, like rats, before let the families to have the "designer baby." For the specific traits, I think they should let them families to choose the things related to the body structure; like not having any disease and cancer, stronger, having good skin, etc. On the other hand, I think they should not choose the appearances, personalities and talents of their babies.
