There are many reasons why I personally have enjoyed the film more than the novel. I believe that there is a lot of small details in the film that makes it that much better. An example would include when prim tucks in her shirt after she is called up on stage. Nowhere in the novel did the author give this small but powerful detail. Another example would include at the start of the film when it gave us an explanation of the reaping and what it stood for. We did get this information in the novel, but it took time to develop and at first in the novel I had no idea why prim had gave katniss a gift. Another advantage that the film has that the novel doesn't is the power to show us all the surroundings and even though the novel tries to describe it with words it doesn't give the same effect. I personally felt that i understood the film better than the novel because of the images.…

Usually, when a movie is made about a story in a book or a play, the two stories are not exactly the same. The movie tends to add small details or leave some out in order to meet time limits and to make the story what they think will be more interesting. Such is the case with Shakespeare's Hamlet. The movie starring Mel Gibson and Glenn Close left out and even added things that were not originally in the play.…

My opinion about this book is that I couldn't understand what was happening in the book. Also the book in my opinion was a little tiring. The movie had more detail, and I could picture it better. I did enjoy the last few chapters, starting when Buck pulled 1000 pounds all by himself. I also liked when Charlie came to John to help him, or bring him home.…

Although I enjoyed the book and movie, there are some noticeable differences seen between each. It was actually one of the best books I've ever read. This year, a movie was made on the story. The story follows Jonas who gets all these memories, and he realizes all the dark and deadly truths about the communities secret past. The movie sort of focuses more on the romantic aspect of the story; the love between Rosemary and Jonas. The book does more to capture the unconditional love Jonas had for Gabe, the baby that staying with Jonas's family. Taylor Swift, who plays Fiona, did not make a significant role in the movie. The movie also focused too much on Meryl Streep and her role as the leader or the community, which is probably because of her…

To start with, the book is fantastic. The movie is not. The book is well written, clear, and evocative and brings out the conflict between the eastern and western cultures with brilliance and simplicity. It’s basically about the identity crises that a confused American suffers. The conflict arises because of his double identity.…

The movie is really similar to the book but there are some things that the director changed or took out that he should’ve kept the same. For example, he took out the part where Maria tells Bruno her story about why she became a maid. The director should have kept that in the movie because then the audience would’ve gotten to know her better. The director also took out the flashback that Bruno had in the book where the Fury came to visit and eat at his house because he had some things to discuss with Bruno’s father.…

I liked the movie a lot more than the book, that’s because it was easier to see and understand the situation while watching the film. The thing that bothered me the most was racism, how they treated the little kid(PK) when he was sent to a school full of Africaaners and got beaten up several times. Also how everyone hated the Africans, which also got beaten up but more often because of their nationality and colour, which I wouldn’t call an excuse. But it was amazing to see how the blacks fought for freedom, for an example when the “policemen” came to the village and searched for PK, none of them told where he was, many of them died and got hurt but they still kept him safe. And how PK and Maria fought to see and meet each other even if their love was “forbidden”.…
