Similarities Between Goodfellas And The Departed
Goodfellas, is about a movie about the Italian mafia and one special character ( Henry Hill) , and The Departed is a tale of the rise and fall of the Irish Mafia in Boston from modern day. Now the two movies that I have brought to you attention today are two different movies but have many similarities. So Goodfellas starts out as describing a young man ambition to not attend school, work at the cabstand ( big mafia front, and handout ) and make some money instead of getting an education. Later on in the movie it shows Henry Hill smoking a stogie and waiting on a truck to jack ( steal ) from the nearest airport truck stop.
