Socrates Alternate Ending
"...this is what you are, this is all you've ever been. A toy for me to use whenever and however I see fit."

He shook his head, he wanted to cry out 'no! No! Don't make me watch this please! Please! Not this, anything but this...'He wanted to back away, but his feet wouldn't move. His hand clasped over his mouth and tears welled in his eyes 'please don't make me watch me rape him...please...' He wasn't sure what he was begging, God maybe, but God didn't answer, God didn't even hear.

“Please, Aniue!! I’m sorry!! I….I won’t do it again…!! Please!!!”

'Please don't, don't do it. Don't' Amaimon screamed and he knew what he had done. His tears spilled over and he sobbed into his hands as he slid down the door, falling to the floor. He was stuck

No, he doesnt! He doesn't like it! He can't!' Mephisto wanted to hurt the last him, tear him away and force him to stop, but he was powerless now. Even if he did that a new time line would be created. His Amaimon would still have suffered this hell. His stomach churned terribly yet again as he watched as he forced Amaimon onto his knees, pressing his length into the earth king's mouth, ignoring further pleas. He snatched a trash can that was near him and wretched sickly into it, tears still spilling down his face. So much traveling made him sick enough...but this...this pushed things far over the edge. 'How could I...how could I ever hurt you like that' his mind pulled him back to the child he had seen. Happy and innocent...but there was no happiness here and he had torn away what was left of his brother's innocence, smashing him to pieces. That child didn't exist anymore, there was no more pure happiness, pure hope. Amaimon was broken and the straw that broke the camels back was what he could hear going on now in the other room. Gasped moans of sick pleasure and pained whimpers. 'How could I ever hope to have you love me...how could I ever dream of it...' After everything he had gone through in his own life how could he ever think it was okay to force himself upon the younger. Lucifer had treated him no differently and yet Mephisto had still forced that pain upon Amaimon too and even worse he somehow asked Amaimon to love him as …show more content…
There was a strong sense of pull and an odd warmth filled him. The last thing he remembered thinking before blacking out again was how even though he would never deserve Amaimon, that didn't mean he couldn't be kind to him. Be kind without wanting anything in return. Just genuinely be a good person and a good brother like the him in the garden. A brother who protected Amaimon and made him happy, someone who would be there and who would smile and laugh, who could help give the younger hope for a better life and God willing lead him to his own happiness, whatever it might

In the story of Crito, Socrates is in prison and awaiting his execution that he was found guilty by corrupting the youth and also supporting other gods that the city of Athens did not. Throughout his trial, Socrates argued each of the things he was charged for and made it very clear that it was not just for him to be found guilty for these actions. The jury ended up finding Socrates guilty through a very slim vote that was not necessarily fair by any means. As Socrates sat in his cell, one of his very faithful friends, Crito, decided to come talk to him. He gave Socrates the opportunity to escape prison and live the life of a wanted man instead of facing his execution. As the story of Crito goes on, he asks himself a number of questions deciding on what he was going to do and whether it would be just or unjust for him to escape prison. Socrates eventually decided that he was going to stay in prison and face his execution instead of escaping, for the act of escaping prison would be unjust and breaking the laws of the city. I agree with Socrates’ decision that he made and feel like he did the just thing by facing his execution.…

There are numerous charges against Socrates in the reading of The Apology. The basic charges against him include impiety, corrupting the youth, and theorizing about unknown topics. He does not believe in the gods that the state does, and therefore seeks for natural explanations to processes that occur in the world around him. He did not recognize the gods and introduced other new divinities. Socrates was charged with corrupting the youth. Due to the constant asking of questions and inquiry, it lead him to try to discover new things about life. Since he looked for natural reason, he began to teach others about his understandings. His followers soon began to imitate his methods and expose other people as unwise which was a threat to the order…

Another good Socrates valued was love. Some people say that Socrates was not a lover as he did not love his children. In ‘The Trial and Death of Socrates’ it is evident that he leaves his children behind and even asks the jurymen to test his own children when they grow up. It seems cruel to leave behind his children and even have them tested. To the majority, it seems that Socrates do not love. However, this is not true. Socrates has a different idea of love compared to the majority’s idea of love. Majority thinks that caring and being there for one another is love, but that kind of love dies out with death. According to Diotima in the ‘Symposium’ love is the appreciation of beauty. Socrates wanted to give this Diotima’s love to his children…

The first, perhaps the most obvious ambiguity of Book Two that complicates the readers’ understating is that Socrates’s criticism against the poets. Socrates claims that any poets that do not depict gods precisely are false and lies. Also, the usage of the poets to represent them as a bad example which children can learn from should be banned from telling them because, as he assumes, the god is only responsible for the good.…

One of the major themes that Socrates heavily focused on in his speech was the philosophical ideas of wisdom and a description of Socrates’ own wisdom as well. Older accusers had allegedly claimed that Socrates did not believe in gods, and instead would try to explain phenomenons through physical explanations instead, as well as the fact that Socrates would teach others how to make a weak argument triumph a stronger one by using clever rhetorics. In Socrates’ defense, he has stated that he does not have any kind of competence and expertise in any of these areas. This statement truly divides Socrates from sophists and even Presocratics, as teachers that each belong to these organizations assert that only through experience and examination they can gain…

Upon taking the ethics class and learning and understanding the teachings of great philosophers such as Socrates, Plato and Aristotle I am even more driven to gather more knowledge about ethics as well as information about the above mentioned philosophers who have been instrumental in shedding light into the complex view on ethics. This is why I chose this topic, in order to explore whether Socrates actually did commit suicide and why he did so. After being familiar with the teachings and views of Socrates I believe that without doubt he was indeed a great man with great attributes and intellect. For a person as such who possessed such pedigree to even think of committing suicide is hard to imagine and…

The painting also depicts both Plato and Crito, with the former sitting at the edge of the bed and the latter clutching the knee of Socrates. They discovered courageous as one of the virtues. Socrates argued that no city would search to anything other than its own. He compared courage with preserving. So, he concluded that it must have courage to “preserve the opinion about which things are terrible”. Socrates used the soldiers as an example of this virtue. He said they must have it in order to differentiate “what’s terrible and about everything else”. In order to do this, the soldiers they had selected must be educated about the laws from them in the most admirable…

Amaimon wasn't cheating on him. Well...technically he was...but he didn't realize it and that's what really mattered. He hadn't known. Couldn't have. His anger came back now and it wasn't directed any longer towards the younger demon, but toward the other Mephisto. How dare he! How dare he come here and trick his mate and try to sleep with him. "Who the fuck are you!?" Mephisto yelled suddenly, pointing furiously at the other version of him who was trying awkwardly to back away. The other him stuttered it wasn't what it looked like, but what the hell else was it? It was obvious what he had done and it absolutely infuriated him. More so that the idea of Amaimon cheating on him honestly, because Amaimon hadn't even chosen to, he had been forced to. Had been tricked and used, taken advantage of. Mephisto growled menacingly, walking across the room quickly before, without another word he punched the other version of himself in the jaw sending him tumbling to the…

I closed my eyes, and breathed in. Wet tear drops slid down across my rosy cheeks, and once it began, I couldn’t stop. Dark thoughts were tackling inside my brain, and there was no silver lining to it. I had one job in my life, to become a normal straight teenage boy and I couldn’t do it. The music started to get louder, the world started to get blurrier, and I couldn’t handle it. What was my purpose in this world? My cries kept on growing stronger, and so did my thoughts. I was drowning in my tears, and before I knew it, I fell asleep.…
