Cell membrane- “The function of the cell membrane is to surround the cytoplasm of any living cell from the outside environment. The cell membrane also has the role of providing shape to a cell and to support the cell”. (www.thoughtco.com). and also another function is to protect the cell from inside of the cell by only giving certain substances into the cell. According to bbc bitesize …show more content…
It synthesizes lipids, phospholipids, and steroids. The smooth endoplasmic reticulum is mostly for making and annoying the that a particular type of cell needs. (www.thoughtco.com). According to softschool the endoplasmic reticulum is responsible for the production of the protein and lipid components of most of the cell's organelles. (www.softschools.com/science)
Golgi apparatus- According to softschool.com the golgi apparatus is to process and bundle macromolecules like proteins. The main functions of Golgi bodies include storing, packing and shipping of certain particles in the cell. ( www.softschool.com). Also the golgi apparatus is responsible for the producing of lysosomes.
Mitochondria- According to thoughtco website the function of the mitochondria is to show cellular respiration. The mitochondria can takes in nutrients and then broke them down and then turns them in to energy for the cell to work. The mitochondria also can help in building parts of blood. In addition the mitochondria can also grow big one or combine with other mitochondria to help produce more energy, it all rely on the need of the cell.
