Winters are cold, but it is the coldest when people are suffering from loss. Most of Kanye’s songs have a hidden message and in this song his message may be unclear unless you know about his life. In all the song in the album Kanye’s lyrics have a deeper meaning than what the average music lover can read or listen to. Coldest Winter is actually a depiction of the singer’s relationship with his mother and his fiancee as depicted through the themes of loss, loneliness, and doubt. So therefore he lays in bed lonely without his fiancee to console him as he mourns his mom. His mom is not around for him to talk about losing his fiancee.
Even more, in the song the lyrics “On lonely nights, I start to fade….Her love’s a thousand miles away”. Each line is repeated, one for his mom and one for his fiancee. Kanye West produced the popular song “All Falls Down” in 2004. He is well known for creating many wonderful tunes but this one stands out above the rest. While his other songs contain bass-heavy instrumentals and contain lyrics about money and women, this one is strays away from the previous structures. “All Falls Down” catches the attention of youth, with its mellow melody, to send a strong message concerning the overemphasis on money and education and how it can be harmful through the lyrics. The issues contained in the message are highly focused on the idea that money and education will not always be there throughout life. A person cannot always expect everything will go accordingly and he or she will be rich because he or she has an education. This is one of the few songs that convey a critical, yet positive, view of the harshness of reality for listeners.…

Maybe the religious background of the author influenced him to claim that people need to start loving each other to reduce hate in our world and therefore help to get rid of inequalities problems. The most evident value to find in this song is equality. That’s what the ethical issue is all about, Tupac asks for a country without low-income communities where problems are multiplicated by 10. Another value could be work because Tupac asks people to get up and work hard to change things. This value is an important part of the solution proposed by the…

Ludacris does a remarkable job of portraying his message about the struggles that some adolescents are faced with. “Runaway Love”, by Ludacris, featuring Mary J. Blige (2007), represents the theme of struggle through hip-hop and rap music. It is about little girls who are “stuck up in the world on their own.” They have to take care of themselves because the people they are around do not care about them. They range from nine to eleven years in age, and their goal in life, at such a young age, is to run away from home. Ludacris is trying to get the listener to realize the struggles that even children have to face because adults are not the only ones who have problems, like most people believe. He is very successful in portraying his message through this song. Girls at that young of an age should be enjoying their childhood, but instead they are forced to become adults and take care of themselves.…

The period of the Civil War and Reconstruction, lasting from 1860-1877, the nation underwent a multitude of powerful changes, physically and emotionally. A school of thought today exists that, “The North won the war, bur the South won reconstruction.” What does this mean exactly? When the Union defeated the Confederacy, Northerners, freemen, and existing slaves imagined a political and social revolution in which their dreams of abolition and government power would manifest itself. However, the civil rights movement within the constitution, specifically the additions of the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments, brought to life the desires of the Union, but in the South such hostility and racism still existed that there was…

In the lyrics of "Why" by Jadakiss, the song is interpreting why all these hard things happen all around the world. Like for instance when someone gets shots or someone gets hurt; sometimes people wonder why these things happen. About how people can party a lot but never really see what's beyond the partying. They are too focused on the partying to see what is really out there. Alcohol isn't the answer to everything but then again people drink it to forget their problems.…

In the song the song New Slaves By Kanye West produced in the year 2013 and the producers of this song are by Kanye West, Ben Bronfman, Mike Dean, Travis Scott, Noah Goldstein, Sham Joseph and Che Pope. The song New Slaves has a lot to do with racism, slavery, segregation, and materialism. One of the reasons that Kanye West made this song about this powerful topic is because he thinks that there is still in this day a lot of racism, and maybe from him making this song people would be able to hear it and maybe see how people feel. Another reason, why Kanye West made this song is because in the intro of the song he says,” My momma was raised in the era when clean water was only served to the fairer skin.” The definition of the intro is his describing when his mother was growing up she was growing up in the era when all the racism was very bad.…

The first verse of the song is allduding to Kanye West having a major car accident. He was driving home from a recording studio in Los Angelos at three in the morning when he fell asleep at the wheel. He totaled his car and broke his jaw severely. After this accident, Kanye wrote a song called “Jesus Walks.” It was part of the album called “Through the Wire,” which Kanye West actually produced while he had wires holding his jaw together(“Kanye West”). The first verse of Wyclef Jean’s song says “I heard a man say Jesus walks, me myself I heard Jesus talk.” This line shows how Jesus is real and how both West and Jean have personally had encounters with Him. The next lines say, “Cause when I heard his beat I felt Jesus' force, I heard it Through The Wire that he made it out the coma, from a fast car.” This line shows West’s devastating accident and the aftermath of it. Kanye was in a…

The song is about losing your significant other, and not being able to live with the fact that they're no longer with you. In the song Beckett tries to forget “her” by going out every night, and spending all of his money. In the second verse he says “all day long, wearing a mask of false bravado, trying to keep up a smile that hides a tear”. He's saying that all day long he pretends to be fine by smiling, but he's really torn up inside wanting ti cry. In the next line he says “but as the sun goes down, I get that empty feeling again”.
