According to Piaget’s, cognitive development through adolescents involves movement form concrete to abstract thinking this allows them to think about possible outcome of a specific situation. They are able to assess possibilities and probabilities. This could be seen in water polo team. Every group member could think that through practice and teamwork they will the satisfactory results.
The team member knew what their role is in the game. They want to be perceived as athletes striving for success. This stage is role identity vs. confusion

Water polo is a team water sport, a high school match for a public school. All sporting activities are free to the students. The school provides uniforms and all required equipment to the athlete free of charge.

There are about 15 participants in water polo sport; however, only seven participate in the game. The participants were all male. Their age range is from 13-18. Physical size range is 130-200 Ib. The height ranged from 5 feet 5 inches to 6 feet 3 inches.
