Something different I did though was that instead of leaving that friend group I talked to them about it and asked them why we were stereotyping all these people. They told me that they were doing it because they could and that what we were saying didn't hurt peoples feelings. What we were saying was hurting people and I told them that and
I actually got them to stop stereotyping people. It felt good to stop my friends from saying the mean things and that they still accepted me in the group of friends.
It's always good to stop people from hurting others. When you know how it feels to be on the other side of all the mean comments it feels good to end people from saying them. I think if it wasn't for me telling my friends to stop that we might have turned into a group of bullies. A good thing to try if you are ever in this situation is to talk to your friends about it. Its best to keep what you have to say to yourself unless its something positive
