Both cardio and strength training a beneficial for athletes but cardio has some advantages over strength training and same with strength training over cardio. If the person or athlete wants to look good or feel good looking at themself then cardio is a better outcome than strength training. For the athletes that are reading this that play sports like soccer, cross country, and track strength training is also a very great tool. Strength training increases speed. This is proven true because it increases the speed in which your kick off the ground is stronger and faster(“Poliquin Group” 2015 p.1). If it's from football and how the athletes can not lead with their head or to how athletes bodies have changed to make them the most advantaged athlete they can become. Over the past one hundred years athletes have changed to how the sports figures has changed. In the 1920’s had the thought that the average height and the average weight were the perfect. IN the 1920s the elite high jumper and elite shot putter were the same height and weight. now the average olympic shot putter is two to three inches taller and one hundred and thirty pounds more than the average high jumper. They have gone from cinders which is ashes from burnt wood to a fabric that makes athletes run as fast as humanly possible. while technology has been changing so hasn't the way people look at lifting supplements and performance enhancing drugs. As scientist has found out how much performing enhancing drugs have made athletes much better and have made them improve into very impressive games and very impressive games played.
