According to dictionary.com Stress is the body's normal response to anything that disturbs its natural physical, emotional, or mental balance. Stress reduction refers to various strategies that counteract this response and produce a sense of relaxation and tranquility. Stress in nursing school is one of the most painful and main cause of many students dropping out of Nursing school. During the past years, whenever test approached my body, and mind turn nervous making It impossible to concentrated on lesson. I remembered when I just started college I will be so afraid to enter the classroom when we have a major test, I will always give the professor an excuse so I cannot attend class. Sometimes when studying the concept become very hard to understand and I usually take a break and go socialize with my friend and family. Socializing can help my physical and mental health. Most time when I socialize with others it helps boosts feeling of well-being and decrease the feeling of depression, I strongly believed that socializing with my friend and family keep me healthier and it also contribute to a successful outcome in school. For instance, last semester I frequently took a break from school to socialize with my family and when I refocused my mind back on my lesson, I noticed that I picked the information and …show more content…
I will make that each night I get significant sleep, Sleep is very essential because it will allow me to tackle each nursing classes and the day become. Sleep is very crucial and it is a necessary part of being successful in the nursing program. When I do not sleep long, my body do not get the full benefits of sleep much as others, I feel restleness. Moving forward, I will make sure that my sleep pattern is not interrupted. A significant sleep will help lower stress and it will also help improve my grade in each class moving
