a personal tablet for every student at Highland and they allow teachers to use technology any way they want to educate in their classes.
When I used to go to Highland we were provided with apple ipod touches to play math games on when we had free time in math.
When we got to use them everyone in our class was very excited and she reminded me of that during our interview. She believes that students are excited about receiving their own tablets next year and students who have financial issues this is a great way to help them develop these skills. Only time will tell and whatever way is better is they way many schools will opted to go with. In the future Mrs. Vezmar believes that they will change their online textbooks to whatever textbook is more effective and easier to use. With the 1:1 Initiative they believe that apps will be able to turn tablets into their own personal textbooks just without pages. In the last 10 years she's noticed a huge increase in the use of computers and she believes that it will not fully replace the old tradition teaching methods but that it is very effective and online learning will continue to grow every year. Finally I asked Mrs. Vezmar if I can use her answers and he personal information for this interview and she said yes.
