What types of physical care must a parent provide an infant child?

-A parent must provide an infant child with much love, care, nurture, security, and attention.

What are some strategies for helping a child cope with stress?

-a parent can listen to what’s going on, help their child navigate through problems, find out what’s causing this stress, Don't TAKE YOUR FRUSTRATION OUT ON YOUR CHILD, and create an environment at home that is stress free with no violence.

What is the difference between a protective environment and a nurturing environment?

-a protective environment is just when you make it secure and safe for your child
-a nurturing environment where you have to attend to all your child's needs and allow that child to feel loved.

How do children’s needs change as they grow through development stages from infancy to teen years? How do special needs children differ?

-an infant they are totally helpless. Toddlers still need help, but not as much. Teens can help themselves. Special needs children differ because They will need your help throughout their whole life.

A parent can control getting a divorce or can also stay away from drugs and things.
