Five effective study strategies I learned and used during this week were listening to music during studying, taking short breaks to listen to music, using colors when taking notes, using Microsoft Excel to map out the notes, and I don’t study for too long so I can reflect after and analyze the information.
All of these strategies help me either concentrate better or help me organize the information in my own way. One change that could improve my effectiveness is making sure I have everything I need within arms distance so I don’t have to keep getting up and stop working to get something that I need to accomplish the school work. If I had everything I need around me off the bat I could study more effectively because I wouldn’t have to keep getting up and then getting sidetracked because I forgot something else earlier in the day that needs to be done.
