When you have a big heart and the need to help people, you want to do it correctly and have programs in place to improve their quality of life. When you start an organization you need to have a plan. The company needs to have in place what the services will be; so that the clients will know what the organization is all about and if they can help them with their needs. Today, we have an overabundance of citizens who cannot afford good, quality medical care. The Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center, Inc. (BPMC) is hoping to change that. Every organization has a mission, a purpose and a reason for being. A good mission statement should truthful explain why the organization exist, and what it hopes to achieve in the future. The mission would link the organization essential nature, values, and its work. The Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center, Inc. (BPMC) is dedicated to improving the physical, spiritual, and psychological well being of the residents of north central Brooklyn communities. The mission statement I created for this organization is to provide expert medical care for our communities, and the highest quality preventive comprehensive family health services with particular concern for lower-socio-economic groups. According to Ethical Leadership in Human Services,” ethical leadership is the most important element of the organization 's "informal" ethics systems, and also ethical leadership leads to an ethical workplace”. In reality, though, no such assurance is guaranteed if the organization doesn’t have an ethical work environment or leadership. Our value statement, we are committed and obligated to provide the highest quality care services to all community and surrounding community residents in an atmosphere of dignity and respect, and treat all patients with a truly caring attitude. We will always be aware of the changing needs of the community and strive to be responsive to those needs. We will promote policies and procedures that uphold a continuum of care for all. We embrace human differences as bonds not barriers and think that quality health care should be universally accessible to
