Creating an Executive Brief
By Jean-Marius Vahoua
In many workplaces, workers do not tend to business tasks in isolation, but instead, work as part of a team. If your workers will work together often, it is wise to put effort into developing cohesive teams. Conducting team building exercises and working to promote workplace unity, you can improve the degree to which your employees can work cooperatively together and bolster your productivity levels.
The first step we have to take in developing a cohesive team is to carefully select the team members. When selecting our team members, we will make sure
to pair workers with peers they get along well with. Because when workers are placed with individuals they fight with or cannot work cooperatively with, the teams will likely not prove successful. Therefore, for teams to function cohesively, they all must clearly understand the team objectives. Developing an objective is the first task that teams should undertake. After deciding upon an ultimate goal, our team will be better able to function cooperatively to work toward that goal. It is also imperative to imply Communication, which is key in successful team building. As a leader, we have to encourage the team to communicate regularly with each other. They may also develop methods to aid in their communication, such as setting up email lists that the members of the team can use to communicate with ease. For a team to be cohesive, the members that fill it must trust each other. We can promote trust by arranging trust-building exercises or encouraging team members to develop relationships that extend beyond the workplace, creating bonds between the members that fill the team.
Launching a new service can be one of the more exciting experiences in the world of marketing. Since it is a vital step for a successful new product introduction. We therefore have to plan, do our homework, and execute well.
#Gather the right team together for the launch. Ensure you have the team leaders and sponsor at the new project launch. This will show the audience that the project is backed by senior management and supported by a strong team
Invite the right audience. Depending on the project goals and objectives, invite the individuals or groups that will be affected when your project is completed. If your project is a new building in a neighborhood, the audience will be the neighborhood owners, who will be affected by the project construction as well as the end project of the building.
llustrate the project goals. Clearly illustrate to your audience the project goals by presenting them in their point of view. If at the end of the project, the goal is to integrate two systems, illustrate how this will be accomplished and why this goal can be important to them.
Highlight the project objectives. When launching your project, make sure everyone is aware of the objectives for the project. An objective is something that will be the result of the project being completed. Using the example of integrating two systems, as a result of the integration all data will be in one place for end-users to access.
Present your timelines and milestones to everyone. Present to everyone your start and end dates, as well as the important dates in between that will be relevant to your audience.
Make available the location where on-going project information can be found. During or after the launch of your new project, share the location of your project data so that individuals can access on-going information.
