She begins by asking “What goal did you set and did you reach it? If you didn’t, ask if it was a realistic goal in the first place.” This is very strong logos here, because she is asking the reader to reevaluate their own decisions, and to reconsider their own goals. This is logos because if you set your goals to high, and did not reach them, then it would make it mentally harder for you to get out and run the next day. By ending the thought with, asking if it was realistic, almost pushes the reader to want to make more attainable goals than before. Finally, she ends by discussing how “the workouts get tough, just push yourself just a little more.” This is another part of logos because it is easy to give up on a hard day. That does not make someone a better runner though, she is arguing that if you can get through the hardest days, those are going to be the days that will push you to get closer to your goal times and truly make you a happier
