Even though I live in the community that the sanctuary is, I had no idea about some of these things that were said in the article. The author Deb Stanley writes the article to the audients of just the general public. I think it is for anyone that wants to know more about the way the place works. Or maybe school kids that are doing a research project on the sanctuary. The pictures that were in the article are relevant to the story that is being told. This article was very useful to me because I had no idea that there was underground dens for the bears and other animals to hibernate during the winter. That just shows right there that the owner really wants to help the animals and it’s not just like a zoo. He cares for the animals, and wants to keep them like they are in their natural habitat. It amazes me that he partners up with Walmart to make this company happen. Without Walmart it would be almost impossible to keep that place up and running. Walmart has a very big part in helping keep this place able to be open to the public. All in all the article was a very good and helpful to me.
