Summary of Findings, Conclusions and Recommendations The study made the Pili pulp as the center of development, a nutritious food material. The product is made for culinary purposes, salad dressing, shortening, for canned sardines and other food preparations. It has more nutritional benefits than the existing cooking oil products in the market. The objective of this study is to determine the viability of producing cooking oil from extract of Pili pulp and the additional source of income and livelihood opportunities it will give to Pili growers and retailers.
Summary of Findings Marketing Aspect. Our business sector is expanding and with the Local government encouraging and supporting local businesses there is a greater chance for the proposed business to succeed. However there are some threats that could hinder the success of the proposed business, this include: limited funds for the proposed business because the financial constraints of the researchers rapid technology development that changes the market wherein the business must learn to adapt in high speed. Management Aspect. The proposed partnership business is named JD3 Company which consist of 4 pa. The researchers will conduct a feasibility study from June to October 2010, the different schedules of activities in putting up the proposed business will be shown in the Gantt Chart of the Company. The start of normal operation will be on March 2011.The Company will hire 2 Production Staff and 1 Utility Man. The proposed Compensation Scheme of General Manager is 14,080, 12,000 in Marketing, Production, Finance Officer and 8,080 by the workers. Technical Aspect. The primary Raw Material to be used is the Pili Pulp Crude Oil which will be acquired in Bicol. The pre-processing will be done in Sorsogon and it will be refined in the main plant office here in Manila. The Main Plant/Office Location will be in Brgy. SocorroCubao, Quezon City. The partners decided to rent an industrial establishment
