Summary Of Monica's Report
PER REPORTER: Monica said she made a report earlier in regards to her nephews being left at home by themselves and was told this morning by a black woman working at CPS to go and pick the children up. She said she is reporting again because when she went to pick the children up her nephew (Cedric) did not want to go with her. She said the child did not want to go with her when she said him and his brother were going to get a haircut in the morning; however, she said the child does not like to listen and wants to do what he wants to do. She said the children were left at home by themselves by their father (Cedric) and had been there alone since last Friday. She also said she tried calling the children’s father but he never returned her call. She mentioned that the children were not harmed while being alone by …show more content…
She said she went to get the children because they should not have to keep themselves, but she said when she went to the children’s school to pick them up they would not allow her to do so. She said she was told the children’s mother (Tameka) called the children’s school and told them she wants to get her boys and did not want Monica to get her children. However, she said everyone knows their mother is unstable and has been diagnosed with schizophrenic and is schizoaffective. Monica said the children’s school then took them home and checked the house out before they left them and she said they said the house was ok and needed cleaned. She also said the school principal (Mr. Cook) told her she could go and get the children from their house. However, she said when she spoke with the CPS worker again she told her she could not give her permission to go and get the children because they never received a report.
