Swimming

Swimming is the best activity to do. Swimming is a not just a sport but a resource for peoples needs. Swimming is for recreational, exercise, and therapy. I have been swimming competitively for 6 years now and I learned how to swim when I was two. I love swimming because it’s an activity that everyone can participate in. Boys, girls, children, and adults can all enjoy the fun in swimming. My personal favorite reason it’s a great activity is for recreational use. During the summer everyone wants to enjoy their time outside and have fun, but its usually really hot in the day and unbearable. That’s why swimming is great a great and family activity to have fun in the sun. The water is nice and cool to help refresh your body. The cool fun activity is also a way to get the family to exercise and ant even realize it. The games you play that involve treading water or chasing people in the water are actually very healthy and enjoyable. Swimming isn’t just for enjoyment, it can also be profitable. Swimming is a great way to exercise and work out. When it comes to exercise swimming I think is the best because it uses every major muscle in the human body. When ever I have a long practice I can always tell I had a hard one because every single one of my muscles are sore and feel like jello. When swimming you use your legs to kick and ur arms to propel yourself through the water. Your even using ur neck muscles a lot by turning your head side to side when breathing. Since your using all your muscles in swimming it can be a big stamina workout, increasing your stamina and endurance. With such a workout out it can burn a lot of calories and fat. Swimming is a number one way for weight loss. When your underwater, everything is so silent. Everything from from the surface fades away into total silence. Being under water is like being in your own little world, it’s a place where u can be all alone with your thoughts. Being in your own world is like a therapy

My favorite activity is baseball. It gives me lots of exercises. Baseball gives you lots of strength and fitness. It is not like the cross country where you burn hundreds of calories but it is a good exercise you run a total of 360 feet all around the base which sounds easy but when it matters like if you win or lose it matters. The different positions do different things I am a pitcher and a catcher. A pitcher is the leader of the field because you need to throw strikes and rely on your defense they will get outs. A catcher is like a manager. He can see anything he tells people where to go and sees if there is a problem. I also can socialize with my friends and meet new ones. That is why I like baseball so…

Water resistance is about 800 times larger than air resistance, so swimming is like working out with small sandbags. A one-hour swim burns about 500 to 700 calories, which almost equals the calories burnt by walking 7 miles. Besides, when swimming, swimmers use every single muscle to go forward. The four main strokes of swimming (freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly) all have obvious effects on weight loss. However, freestyle and backstroke rely more on arms, while breaststroke and butterfly use more muscles on the waist. Girls can customize their workout plan according to their individual requirements. In a word, swimming is a good sport for girls to shape their…

Breathing Underwater can be difficult for anyone and especially for Nick it was not easy the week after he slapped his ex-girlfriend Caitlin. Coming back to school having everyone staring at him and having no friends.
