Taco Bake
The next time you need to whip up a batch of cupcakes for a school related function consider using organic flours to make all of your artisan baked goods.. The term artisan means breads which are made in small quantities and are all done by hand There are several choices available and they are all 100% natural. Here are some of my favorites that I use frequently for my baking needs: Organic White Flour by is made with unbleached flour and is great to use to make a batch of cupcakes for a birthday party or a fresh batch of blueberry muffins for breakfast. I use Arrowhead Mills brand flour. Sonoma Baking Mix is made using unbleached flour and sweet cream buttermilk. This is ideal to making the perfect biscuits, crusts and shortcakes. This is a very simple recipe that I used to make a local convenient store. First you start out with ground hamburger. Depending on how many people you are feeding. I cook for 3, but two of them are guys so I use about 3 pounds of hamburger. Start to fry the hamburger, then have 2 packages of Taco seasoning ready. Plus the water that is needed for the Taco seasoning. After the hamburger is brown a cooked thoroughly, drain and put back in skillet. Then add your packages of Taco seasoning and water. Cook until thickened. After the hamburger is done with the Taco seasoning, get a bag of Doritos and shredded cheese any kind you want, crush up about 3/4 of a bag of doritos in the bottom of the pan. Then take your hamburger and put on top of the Doritos. On top of the hamburger, you put the shredded cheese as much as you want. If you are a cheese lover like myself you can put a lot on it or if your not as much of a cheese fan then you can put very little if you like. Set your oven to 350 degrees. When preheated put the pan of taco bake into the oven until cheese if fully melted and until hamburger is completely hot again. While the taco bake is in the oven, you cut up lettuce and tomatoes in separate bowls. Put cheese into a bowl as well. After getting all of that ready the taco bake in the oven should be done. Take the taco bake out of the oven and serve. When serving put as much as you like on a plate and put lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and taco sauce on top of that and there you have it Taco Bake. Take my advice it is very good. A very easy dish to make when you have had a hard day at work and you come home and you do not feel like coming home and making a big dinner. Very quick and easy. Hardly any mess at all to clean

Once everything is lined up, we get our tortillas we made earlier and fry them. We have to be careful not to over fry them, but a little crispy is preferred. We usually deep fry about six at a time, take them out and drain them on a napkin, to get the access oil off. We then put them on a plate and began to assemble them in the following order. To our tortillas, we add a pinch of beans, a pinch of chorizo and potato, chesse, sprinkle cabbage and drizzle the spicy tomato sauce over everything. Once we have completed this with all six of our enchiladas and added a piece of chicken,…

The menu is inviting as it pops with color and shows pictures of many of its offerings, making it easy for people who like to have a visual when choosing something to eat. I have tried many things on the menu and two of my most favorite are the steak fajitas and the charbroiled chicken burrito. The fajitas come to the table sizzling on a skillet with a side of refried beans and rice. The vegetables included with the fajitas are grilled zucchini, grilled red peppers, grilled yellow peppers, grilled mushrooms, and grilled onions. These vegetables with steak and tortillas make for a mouthwatering burst of flavors that are perfect. The charbroiled chicken burrito is a fulfilling tortilla that is stuffed with lots of cheese and tender chicken that makes every bite better than the…

Take corn tortillas from the grocery store, ideally the blue corn because it is not genetically modified, and spread the desired amount on a cookie sheet. Lightly brush with olive oil or butter (2 tablespoons should cover the whole pack). Skip the olive oil/butter for extra crispy chips. Add a dash of sea salt. For extra flavor sprinkle on some paprika, cayenne, and chili powder (about 1/8 of a teaspoon of each). Using a pizza cutter cut the tortillas into wedges. Bake for 12-15 minutes, flipping the chips about half way. Keep an eye on them to make sure they do not burn. Of course, store bought chips will also work well with the guacamole recipe, but they are not as much…

Once you have all the supplies and prep done, now you are ready to start making the enchilada filling. First you will want to fill your big pot about three quarters of the way full with water and bring it to a boil. When the water starts to boil you can add the chicken breast. Be careful because the pot and water are extremely hot and may splash back up at you. You will want to let the chicken boil for about fourty-five minutes to one hour. I check if the chicken is cooked all the way through by cutting a breast in half and making sure there is no pink in the meat. When the chicken is done, you will want to strain the water from…

    Mexican Food In America

To begin, the contents of enchiladas differs in the U.S. and in Mexico. In restaurants, and even most American homes, enchiladas are made with beef or chicken wrapped in store bought flour tortillas. Meanwhile, in Mexico they are made with a corn tortilla and most often filled with cheese. The preparation also differs between the two nations. In America, for example, they are topped with a red or green sauce, maybe even a package mix and then baked in the oven. Finally, just before eating they are topped with lettuce sour cream and salsa. Whereas in Mexico the sauce is made entirely from scratch with dried chilies that have been boiled, and then ground with garlic and other ingredients. Sometimes they even use mole sauce which can be a meal of its own. The tortilla is dipped in the sauce then fried. Once the tortilla is fried place cheese in the center and roll it up while still warm; now add the toppings and enjoy a delicious authentic Mexican…
