When Steve Ells decided to create a restaurant concept that combined the quick-serve experience with exceptional quality food, he didn’t know it would be an instant hit (Thompson, Peteraf, Gamble, & Strickland III, 2015). He was looking for a way to use his culinary training and restaurant experience to elevate the fast-food concept. This transformed the way people thought about fast-food. His concept centered on a focused menu serving only high-quality, fresh ingredients using traditional cooking methods and made-to-order preparation in a restaurant interior that was aesthetically pleasing but still prepared in under 2-3 minutes. And Chipotle Mexican Grill was born! Within six years of being open, Chipotle Mexican Grill went public on the New York Stock Exchange, doubling its stock price the first day (Thompson et al., 2015). Year after year, Chipotle has been able to grow revenue from $3.2 billion to $4.1 billion ("CHIPOTLE MEXICAN GRILL INC (CMG:New York): Financial Statements - BusinessWeek," n.d.). We are in NFL season! Wouldnt it be great to watch the game with a plate of chicken wings? I say Yes! Therefore, visit Buffalo Wild Wings. They have a wide range of flavors which I love. You can find the chain restaurant almost anywhere. I usually eat at Buffalo Wide Wings at Forrest Hils just because it is closer to me. I recommend to be extremely patient. They usually don't have enough waiters for a number of people that go to eat there.I usually wait 10 to 30 minutes just to get a table, then 30 to 60 minutes for the waiter to arrive with the food. Although it takes forever I still see myself gravitating to the restaurant when I'm craving wings. The menu has different prices for the wings, it all depends on a number of wings.Usually, prices…

According to the articles "Holding Onto Heritage Before It Slips Away" by Rachel L. Swarns, and "How The Taco Conquered America" by Lauren Tarshis, dishes from other countries often change when they come to the U.S. One way this is shown is in the article "How The Taco Conquered America" the article says how Americans did not like tacos and mexican food when it came to America, until it was changed a little. "Bell spent his evenings experimenting in his kitchen, finally devising a method crisping taco shells in advance. He concocted a taco sauce that was milder than a typical piquant Mexican sauce. He designed his tace place to be modern, more like a fast-food joint than a homey Mexican stand. Bell's first taco restaurant, Taco Tia, opened…

Starting in 1983, John Martin began a series of changes in the Taco Bell organization designed to alter the company’s mind-set, as well as its capabilities for pursuing a strategy to compete with the major fast-food chains. The first thing he did was to modernize Taco Bell’s physical units. These changes included remodeling the restaurants, increasing seating capacity, adding drive-through windows, installing new signs, and outfitting employees in more contemporary uniforms. The company also added new menu items, including Nachos, Taco Salad, Mexican Pizza, Double Beef Burrito Supreme, Seafood Salad, and Soft-Shell Tacos.2In addition, Martin accelerated the company’s growth, averaging 249 new stores per year from1983 to 1988, an increase from less than 100 units per year that had been added in the late 1970s. This expansion also extended Taco Bell’s geographic presence into the Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast. In the process, the company replaced its old 1,600-square-foot mission-style restaurants with more modern2,000-square-footunits.…
