was not impressed by him, he soon became a bird and began to show off in front of Hera. Just as Zeus thought, after his transformation Hera felt sorry for the poor bird and cuddled the bird close against her body. After this occurred, Zeus transformed back to his regular self and took his sister/wife by surprise. Hera was so mortified, by this incident that occurred; that she saw so other possible outcome, other than to marry him on the spot. Mother Earth bestowed Zeus and Hera with a magical tree with golden apples on it. Once they ate these golden apples they were granted with the power of immortality. The garden of Hesperides shows multiple outlooks throughout ancient tales, Eris picked the apple to symbolize something from Greece ten years ago from Troy.
The moral lesson of the myth, Hera is that true love never dies out and that you should never judge a book by its cover because in this myth, Zeus was a shabby little creature that no one really cared about until he resumed in his normal form of a powerful Greek god named Zeus. What I think this myth is trying to tell us is that you should always take someone for how they really are.
