My Choice of Topic: in a complete essay, using reasons an example for support, explain the situation or environment in which a person should conceal piercings and tattoos. I chose the workplace.
Would you like more confidence in yourself and for people to perceive you differently? First of all you should consider covering up your tattoos especially when going to an interview or where you work. Tattoos can sometimes be offensive to customers or to employees. You should also consider removing piercings as they fall under the same category as a tattoo.
I myself have many tattoos and even though it’s considered the oldest form of art, I consider them while at work. I currently work in healthcare and my boss stated that it was a strict policy that the tattoo should be covered up. I would also recommend you cover them up for any type of interview. Employers, whether they want to or not, judge people off the way they present themselves, considering the short amount of time they’re given to interview. It is understandable that some tattoos are of religious backgroundBut employers have the right to not extend to hire an opportunity if you are not willing to cover your tattoo.

I totally agree that you should dress for success but when you do, consider the touches you need to cover it. Maybe wear a long sleeve button up or a light sweater instead of a short sleeve. You should also consider removing visible piercings as they fall under the same category. It is all body art, it’s just in today’s society people are judged and misunderstood and when you feel like people are judging you based of your appearance your confidence will
