However, people are generally indifferent in their emotions regarding these atrocities, limiting their sympathy through hashtag use. Simply speaking, following Christ entails respecting the value of life and truthfully defending its inviolability, which is not to be taken away at all, save for rare and extraordinary circumstances or the just war, as Saint Augustine proposed.
