The Fault in Our Stars
I am not really a person who likes to read, mainly because I can never find a book that seems to interest me, until I found
The Fault in Our Stars. The Fault in Our Stars is a drama and romance book based on two teenagers that connect through their lives with cancer.
I was able to relate to this book with many aspects and themes it contained whether it was emotionally or mentally through different events and experiences.
Just like Augustus and Hazel I along with the rest of humanity have had bad moments and days, but we have to learn to fight through it and we can not let it stop us from be ourselves, we cannot let it takeover.

Pain is something that happened very often in this book, whether it was emotional, mental or physical. The protagonist, Hazel Grace Lancaster says to a crowd “without pain we wouldn’t know joy.” (Green 35) Hazel and antagonist, Augustus Waters both agree that pain is a necessity of life, I can strongly agree and relate to that statement. I believe that pain is something that we all need to go through in order to grow up and mature as people. Pain can come from lost of loved ones, consequences, being harmed, or various other things. Sometimes the pain you feel seems like its never going to end, but like a quote from writer, Regina Brett says “time heals almost everything.” I can agree with that quote because nothing last forever not even pain, eventually the certain pain or suffering will go away it may take a long time or a short time but it will always eventually go away.
