What I Want for My Own Life My definition of the American Dream is to be able to achieve individual goals and dreams. Everyone has a dream or goal of some sort, whether it is to graduate college or to travel around the world before they die. My dreams consist of wanting three children, a big house with a two car garage, being a stay home mom, and being happily married to my best friend. It is my belief that because people still have individual dreams and goals, the American dream does exist. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to get married and have three children of my own. When I was about ten years old, I would always play house with my little sister and carry dolls around like they were real. I would push them around in strollers, put diapers on them, and buy baby clothes that real babies would wear. My dream is to have a big wedding with probably about four hundred guests, a big reception hall with great food, and a cake. I want to look exactly like a princess in a white wedding dress with everybody having their eyes on me as I walk down the aisle. I actually started planning my wedding on PowerPoint, and I am still messing around with ideas to this day about what I want for my dream wedding. After I have been married for a couple of years, I want to start having children. I want three children, two boys and a girl. I am really excited to be a mother one day. It is one thing I know I will be good at. I know it will be a challenge, but I know I will be ready when the day comes. Hopefully, it will not be for a while, but definitely after I graduate college and have a full time job. Next on my list is a dream house. I have a Pinterest account, which is a social media page that lets anyone repost pictures of houses, room designs and other ideas that interest people. Since signing up with this account, I pretty much have an idea of what kind of house I want. I want a ranch house
