I am reading “The Bass, The River, and Shelia Mant” by W.D. Wetherell and I am on page 6. This book is about a boy who likes a girl next to their cabin and he has watched knows all her moods and he’s also showed off to her. He finally asks her out to the fair and he decides to canoe up to the fair he catches a big bass in fact the biggest one he has ever had but he soon finds out she dosent like fishing so he cuts his fishing line. The boy really likes the girl and thinks she is pretty, he knows she has money, and he also knows there are other fish. The boy also really wants the fish and he knows that it is the biggest fish he’s ever had, he’s been fishing all his life and is very passionate about it, and he doesn’t want to just give up and dump his gear in the river.
