Passion is colloquially defined as having strong emotions. It is an important characteristic for a leader, for without passion results in lack of energy, little to no motivation, and inevitable burnout. As Elle Woods from Legally Blonde once said, “It is with passion, courage of conviction, and strong sense of self that we take our next steps into the world.” This rhetoric resonated with me as I pushed myself to be a leader at a lower caliber. I think that these are developed in an individual through the environment that they first experienced leadership and with socialization in leadership. Also, there are just some instances of natural borne leadership and that is just as valid. Overall, leadership is easier than it actually is. The title and power is great, but being passionate and transparent about your goals will easily establish confidence and conviction — showing that leadership is attainable for anyone as long as they keep these three traits within
