The day Muffin died was a huge disaster, at least to Lisa it was.
The whole thing had happened on a sunny and enjoyable afternoon. Lisa Louise had just come home from school after saying goodbye to her friend who had walked with her. She rushed into the house, wanting to find her cat, Muffin, for a big welcome, only to find Muffin lying on the floor! She hadn’t seemed to look, well . . . very much alive. Lisa rushed to her side, but it had been too late; she only found the already hardened body of her Muffin.
Ever since that day, Lisa thought about Muffin all day long and didn’t seem to be in her usual cheerful mood. Her parents were trying their best to make her happy, but nothing would work.

“Well . . . Muffin died, I—”
“What? Muffin died!” Angel had such a big reaction that she scared Lisa.
“And I just didn’t really know how to face the fact that Muffin—left me.” Lisa finally couldn’t hold in her feelings anymore, and she broke down and cried.
“Oh, Lisa, I feel so sorry for you. It’s okay, let it out, you’ll feel much better,” Angel comforted.
“Thank you, Angel,” Lisa sobbed.
It actually had made Lisa feel much more at ease the next day, but still, she missed her cat. So on the weekend, when Lisa went to her piano lesson, Angel found Lisa’s parents and talked to them.
