There is easier access to information that helps entice the students to learn and learn more frequently. With a tap of a finger, a student can pull up the United States of America’s health food ranking in the world, or anything, in just a matter of seconds. Students are now open to more opportunities in the job force leading them to enroll in college. Since getting a degree has become a requirement for most job forces, it pushes students to complete college, earn a degree, and make a difference in the world. Technology, in this case, is not just used for socializing. Although it is an excellent way to contact one another, it also provides various current events occurring in the world. When most students see a problem they are passionate about, they will become involved and do the best they can at making an improvement on the matter. For instance, for one of my college courses, I was required to complete ten hours of community service. I volunteered for the community prior, but I had to find a different organization to volunteer with. Without the help of an online university website that listed organizations, it would have taken longer for me to find an organization, complete the hours, and become involved in a part of society. The sixties was the hippy era, the seventies was the disco era, and the eighties was the big-haired era. They all had brilliant scholars and absent-minded students. This is true with every generation. Classifying one generation as a whole to be dumb for learning differently can be seem as equivilent to calling the older generation dumb because they do not know how to work technology. Some elders use technology better than people under thirty. Learning is a process. As children, the young students are beginning their learning starting with the simple subjects. As time goes on, the students begin to elaborate and improve on their previous knowledge making the subjects more complex. This continues on for the rest of their life. People never truly stop learning, whether school related or life lessons, until they decide to take their last breath. The old are wise. The young are
