Toys are very essential to children’s life.
A good toy should provide children happiness, attraction and the most important---educational values.
The Beyblades
1. Development of physical and mental skills: As you can see from our demonstration before, it takes skills and concentration to play beyblades. The kids would try to find a way which is may a particular position or others that could make it spin successfully and it require skills for that.
2. Using their minds and bodies to learn the beyblades’ theory, cause and effect: just like I mentioned, to win the contest or make it successful, children tend to know how it works which means they would know the theory behind it and search for the reason. What and how would make this happen?
3. Hand-eye coordination: It involves hand and eyes coordination to play beyblades.
4. Social development: Beyblade is a good example of developing children’s connection with others. They would play and share their collection with other kids and it may make them feel a sense of belonging somehow. In the other hand, it may also give them negative emotions when they feel their toys aren’t good enough or expensive enough compare to others. The sense of being lost and lonely is formed. However, in my opinion, no matter positive or negative emotions are good for children cuz they can experience any kinds of feelings.
5. For collection and display: It gives children a sense of achievement by gathering these treasures.
6. Recognise shapes and colors: when kid tries to ask for beyblade or find a particular one, they would try to memories and describe it with its shapes or colors and learn it with motivation.
