Bob Scanlan
From the point of view of the four quadrants we can deduce that his self-awareness level is high, he has a clear idea about what he feels and uses them to guide his decision making. He has a realistic assessment of his own abilities and is self-confident of his work. Bob's self-management level is moderate as his level of managing emotions vary as per situations. Under normal situation he is conscientious and trustworthy, while under pressure he loses his self-control. Bob had high organizational awareness and was empathetic towards his subordinates. Hence, he had high social awareness. He would work with new employees whenever a problem arose and constantly delegated work to them according to their capabilities. His relationship is stable only when people work in accordance with him. He is not able to adapt to Fishman’s style of working and faces repeated conflicts with him.
Beverly Sadowsky
Beverly’s self-awareness has propelled her to become the COO of the organization. Her hands off attitude and delegation of, many of the responsibilities of her job showcases her self-management. She is socially aware as she knew that Bob would gain by taking courses that would help him perform his work better and so she encouraged him to do so. She knew what would motivate Bob to work and so she let him handle many of the managerial decisions that were allocated to her. They worked as a team and she nurtured their relationship to improve the working of the organization.
George Fishman
Fishman was a strong headed person as he did not budge from his beliefs and stamped his authority on others repeatedly. His self-awareness was well displayed in his actions.
Fishman was a meticulous person and a self-professed perfectionist. He was good at self-management and completed each task in a given protocol and any deviation was intolerant.
