Since she got to see Persephone in the spring, she was very joyful. She would be seen wearing an arrangement of flowers and other accessories in her rich, long flowing hair. As a fair-skinned goddess, Demeter wears a jade-jeweled crown, earrings, and necklace. During the autumn season, while her daughter was with Hades, she would be seen hold a basket filled with pumpkins, corn, grain, and other agricultural things. Also, during the same season, she would be wearing a dark cloak and yielding a golden sword. Through her journey to find her daughter Persephone, she can be seen bearing a torch in her hand.
