Rationale
Computer nowadays makes work processes more efficient and reliable from manual operations of different firms. With the power of technology nowadays, people get interested with computers. They try to indulge themselves on it to have a productive result in a more efficient and time saving process. It is highly valued in institutions like business enterprises schools, hospitals, government and non-government services.
Reservation and Billing is a computerized system which is a systematized process of security and availability of certain goods and services for a certain event or need of a customer and calculate the corresponding cost of the chosen goods and services for payments. It is an organized system that does not only handles booking transactions but also keeps and tracks the records of the clients (resort billing and reservation.htm).
Kayla’ a Beach Resort, a manually operated resort establishment takes time for the front desk in-charge to retrieve files, compute payments, and issue receipts hence customers have to wait for a long while. More so, the process is prone to errors and loss of records or data.
Amidst these complexities, a computerized process is the solution to make the procedures more accurate and time saving. Through the use of computer transactions, the front desk in-charge will have less time and effort in computing payments and retrieving data. There is an assurance of an accurate output without losing important data. The implementation of the system would improve customer service and be able to compete into the business community of today.
