The Heroic Death Of Odysseus In Homer's Odyssey

The glistening arrow shot fast as a spotted cheetah, puncturing my neck killing me instantly. I’m a mango in a tree that’s been hit with a stick,I see my soul drifting away like a cloud in the sky, the great body of all the suitors lays there solid. Before my soul reached the Underworld I heard my friend Eurymachus, man of betrayal, blame crimes of his own on me. My soul has reached the underworld escorted by a well cloaked god brighter than when Dawn makes the yellow sun rise. As I walk down the halls I see men of significant journeys. I see suitors who courted Penelope appear one by one. Eurymachus appears and I’m ready to show him my wrath.He sees me and wonders why I look angry.
