The Importance Of Health Care In America
According to the World Health Organization, “The right to health means that governments must generate conditions in which everyone can be as healthy as possible. Such conditions range from ensuring availability of health services, healthy and safe working conditions, adequate housing and nutritious food.” Unfortunately, many health care systems in America struggle to generate the necessary conditions to bring patients back to health. Such problems include: hospital food lacks nutrition and taste, financial assistance for families is nonexistent, affordable housing isn’t provided for long-term families, and prevention education isn’t established to decrease patient readmission. Hospitals must address the patients’ medical, social, and financial
