Introduction
Sports has always been an inaugural part of Australian culture, but in recent the landscape has changed due to developments in the law, technology and the most prevalent performance enhancing drugs. Due to this current accelerated advancement in technology, it is becoming more and more difficult to detect performance enhancing drugs as athletes have begun to find more effective methods in masking these drugs consequently making it easier to cheat. This essay will outline the law behind performance enhancing drugs and concern they possess; investigate perspective from the public and professionals and evaluate the law and determine ways to improve the current situation. By the end of the essay it should be clear that the rules regarding drugs in sports should not be changed.

The advancement in technology not only bought along with it improvements to drugs in sports but the laws behind drugs began to changed too. On one hand there are individuals who believe drugs ruin sports and then you have others who don’t agree with this statement.
