it to the Smarthinking essay center will allow you to have your work reviewed and critiqued” (Bethel University, 2014, pg 2). I know that the writing center along with other services like offline questions and tutoring will all guide me and help me to become a better writer.
It can be so hard to overcome difficult obstacles in your life.
There’s several things that a person can do in their life to overcome those difficult obstacle. Some of those might be to keep positive people in your life, always speak life and positive words into existence, and to keep a positive outlook on life. Having and setting goals for yourself, helps you look at things in a positive light and will keep you focused on the things that are more important. Having those goals is only step one, step two involves having the determination to accomplish those goals that are set.
It is important to know that, “we need others to survive, and our methods of interacting will affect the degree to which we obtain our needs” (Harrington, 2012, pg 29). Having a social life is important along with having a good physical life as well. If an obstacle is looked at in a negative perspective then it could have a negative effect on a person emotionally. After reading “Where There’s A Will, There’s A Way”, it helped me realize that we need each order to survive and to feed each other’s needs. It is true that “Self-acceptance is not based upon performance or result. It is about acknowledging failures and recognizing that efforts need to be made towards improvement” (Harrington, 2012, pg 29). In order to overcome those obstacles one must love you and surround themselves with positive space and
energy.
Family members can be one of the obstacles that you have to face. Having a sense of resilience will help with overcoming that obstacle and living a happy and prosperous life. “Resilience is the development of psychological strength to assist the individual to overcome and grow from challenges” (Harrington, 2012, pg 30). This can help an individual grow and face their difficulties and challenges. This article has helped me have a clearer and better understanding of overcoming obstacles in a positive way.
