The Industrial Revolution In The 1800's
The industrial revolution was a big act in the years of 1760 through 1840. Many events during these periods of time happened almost every year between those years. Here, I will be explaining the events that had taken place in between the times of 1760 and 1840. The Industrial revolution held many events that could affect people, and make everything better such as the Luddite rebellion, where all the luddites could get out and destroy everything such as machinery etc.
One event took place in 1781, one year after this all started. This had happened when Walt adapted his steam engine from a reciprocal to rotary motion, he created this by producing continuous rotary motions. Then four years later in 1785, was when Edmund cartwright invented the powerloom, Which after 1800 was powered by new steam engines. Replaced by the flying shuttle. Five years later after that in the late 70s, 1790, cartwright changed all his big factories over from water power to steam engines. Then in 1799 about nine years later, some combination acts were made illegal in England for workers to unionize in order to bargain for higher pay and better working conditions.

The year after 1799 another event occured. The 1800 event was when 10 million tons of coal appeared in great britain shocking everybody. Another year later in 1801, Richard trevithick drove the cornish “puffer”, steam powered locomotive down the street of camborne, England. Ten years later in 1811, The Luddite Rebellion had begun, it began in Nottingham and was very ride in the region and many people stressed over it, it wasn’t a good thing especially at that time. Another year later in 1812, The parliament passed a law making it illegal by penalty of death to destroy machines, for example mostly industrial machines.
