(three favorite stories)
All together this school year has went by like a flash, it ended before it even began. In English class we have read many stories, poems and letters, many of which I didn’t care for. Do you ever look back on your years of high school and say that you didn’t learn anything or even liked anything all those years. My senior year went like a flash of lightning, it went crazy fast. The one thing that I will remember most is all the reading I had to do in McGee’s class. There are three stories that stick out to me that I can remember really well, the first story is Rocking horse winner, second Macbeth and the last story that I remember reading is Beowulf. In Macbeth the whole story is like on your seat when reading it. You know what Macbeth is thinking and that he wants to be king, but he also talks himself out of it at one point when he’s alone. Lady Macbeth isn’t hard to follow she knows what she wants and when Macbeth is having second thoughts Lady Macbeth knows just what to say to get Macbeth back into thinking what he needs to be and not backing down. She knows that she wants to be queen and that Macbeth wants to be king he’s just having a hard time getting the job done and in the end after he does finally kill the king Lady Macbeth has to go back and finish the whole job that he didn’t do. Lady Macbeth ends up having to kill the bodyguards because Macbeth couldn’t go back in the room after he seen what he really did. Lady Macbeth tells Macbeth what to do a lot in this whole play and I really like how it keeps you up on your toes like what is she going to make him do next. She really knows what to say to keep him getting what Macbeth thinks he wants, but isn’t too sure about it yet. You never know what Lady Macbeth will be saying to Macbeth to get what she wants out of him. I love reading this play and seeing how Lady Macbeth knows how to use her words and challenge Macbeth’s manhood and see if he really is a
