Hailey had wanted to be a dancer since she was little. Her coaches all said she was a natural. She was on a dance team called the Leaping Leopards. “What’s wrong?” cried Sydney, as the coaches and

It hurt horribly bad, but it felt good to get off her feet. She tried dancing a little bit each day, nothing difficult, just the basics. Her doctor advised against it but she continued.
It was now the day of the competition and hailey still had not healed. Almost couldn’t bare to watch, but she decided to wear a brave face. Even with this advantage things were looking pretty rough without Hailey. The other s acts were magnificent, It was hard for the Leopards to think positive.
The team was up in two performances. Hailey knew what to do to save her team.
“Coach, you need to put me in!” Hailey pleaded, almost demanded of coach Thal.
“ But your ankle is still hurt?” coach Thal said confused.
“I know.” said Hailey confidently. “But I need to try for the team.” “If I don’t, all the hard work this team has put in was for nothing,” Hailey said boldly.
“Okay,” agreed her coach, “Go get

As an example in the film Pobo said to Patrick, “You are a part of this team, so you have to do your best.” Which shows how hard the team works, and how the teammates want everyone to win. Another example that shows how all the members of the team had to do their part on their team to win is when Pobo lost one of the tournaments, and everyone was there to support him. Even though they knew that they had a lower chance of winning as a…

“Never give up, and be confident in what you do. There may be tough times, but the difficulties which gave you face will make you more determined to achieve your objectives and to win against all odds.” This was what women’s Brazilian soccer star Marta once advised. Never giving up may sound like a goal that is impossible to reach in reality. Although that may be true, in literature there are characters who exhibit it ideally. For instance, Joan Bauer’s short story “A Letter from the Fringe” introduces a figure who showcases these traits. On a somber day, Dana, the protagonist, a high school student at Bronley High was tormented by bullies alongside her friend Sally for being overweight. Although, it seemed as if her heart had been torn out and thrown to the side, she was capable of forcing the two tyrants to flee. Afterwards, she insisted that they had no right to…

I held in my excitement and accepted his offer.…
