The Outsiders Compare And Contrast Edward Scissorhands
In both the book and the movie, I really liked that they were relatable to teenagers, as many of us may experience the themes addressed in them such as, belonging, society and class, love, and friendships. What I disliked about The Outsiders is that the book was too much of a rollercoaster, in that there were too many climaxes that then died down to an event more subtle. In Edward Scissorhands, I didn't like it how the whole story was being told by an older Kim, to her grandchild. This for me ruined the movie at the end because I feel it would've been a much better ending if this was left out.
For me it is hard to choose which text I preferred as they were both enjoyable to read and watch, but they both had their flaws which at sometimes
