Studs Terkel once said, “Why are we born? We are born eventually to die, of course. But what happens between the time we are born, and the time we die? We are born to live. One is a realist if one hopes.” Being a dreamer means that you have no boundaries for your thoughts and actions. In other words, you do what you want to do, no matter what anyone tells you. Being a realist means that you think that you can’t do whatever you want, because it is impossible. You set boundaries on your thoughts and your attitude. First of all, Some people say that being a realist tells you the truth what you want to do in life, is impossible. But have you ever realized that those dreams are not so impossible after all? In the book, “The Outsiders”, on page 48, the text says, “Since

“The Outsiders” shows that Pony wants to move to the country, where

And from that same article, the text says, “Our culture (and often our families) certainly encourages us to have big ideas, grand plans, and pursue success at the highest level. Sadly, parents sometimes saddle their unfulfilled dreams onto their children who then do the same to their children leaving a long chain of potential frustration and unhappiness. Sometimes we actually achieve these lofty goals and even more. Yet mostly we don’t.” The quote from “Mr.
Ferris And His Wheel” shows that Mr. Ferris refused to give up no matter what spectators said about his ride. Most of the comments he got were about people getting hurt. He kept his eye on the prize, and the reward felt so much more meaningful because of reasons like that. He still ignored that, and built a very sturdy, fun ride. The first quote from the article shows that So many people harm themselves because they are so disappointed that they don’t get to achieve
