The Plague Monologue
Its 1348, the world has evolved through unpresented events; it has drastically changed…. not for good. In Europe a contagious plague caused the death of many… this so-called plague was caused by rodents; they were bitten by parasites. After that, the infected rodent transmitted the parasite to a human. When this parasite bit the human, it vomitted the rodent’s nauseated blood to the victim. The virus spreads through your body while devouring major functions of your brain; causing a high dose of anxiety and complete destruction of your consciousness. Now the first victim of the virus is walking around, only to begin a vicious cycle of death and destruction. “what happened?” James exclaimed. “My name is William, you are inside my shelter, you’re safe in here.” “Who hit me?.” “Don’t worry I made sure you weren’t infected” Wiliam said” Grab your stuff we need to get out of here, we ain’t got much time till’ the infected know our location, We must find the others.”
Day 44, James and William walked until they reached a safe place. “What keeps you alive? What’s your purpose?” James asked anxiously. “ I have what will restore humanity, the cure for the infected, my purpose is to make it to make it to this small town in Cracow which is infected-free and present them the cure. Now let's keep moving”
Day 103, James and William are about a mile away of their destination, they eye out the location but since it’s getting dark, they decide to sleep in a nearby church. As they were about to lay down it was so dark they didn’t know there were nearby infected. When they laid down an infected grasped William’s arm and bit it. James saved William and killed the infected. They decided it was a better idea to leave and head to Cracow. On their way there, William tripped and told James his legs weren’t working and couldn’t continue. Infected heard their conversation and ran towards them. “ Take the cure with you and leave quickly!” william exclaimed. “I can’t leave you here!” “ You have to leave, hurry they’re coming!” William cried. James took the cure and ran to the location, when he turned back, he saw William running elsewhere. James arrived at Cracow and presented them the cure, where doctors duplicated it and would go on to terminate the
