Our society has evolved together with the rapid changes that either alleviate or aggravate our present educational condition. Different programs and projects of the DepEd have already been implemented. Teachers continually fight for the battle cry of providing quality education with our Filipino learners to help them become highly competitive and functional members of the society. Thus, school administrators play significant roles in building, motivating and leading teachers to exemplify effective learning environment. The goal of achieving excellence in the educational process is dependent on the educator’s effectiveness in integrating the three intelligences: analytical, emotional and spiritual (Yurkadul, Ker-Dincer & Vural, 2008). In this view, the researcher would like to identify what factors influence the leadership effectiveness of school administrators which contribute in the success or failure of a school. The dependent variable of this proposed research refers to the school administrator’s leadership effectiveness which is referred to as the ability on how school administrator leads the school and the teachers. According to Goleman (1995), most people believed that people who have high IQ would become more successful in life. However, recent researches recognized emotional and spiritual intelligence as greater predictor of person’s success rather than this intellectual intelligence. Hence, the researcher adapts Goleman’s idea and considered Intellectual Quotient, Emotional Quotient and Spiritual Quotient as independent variables which influence the leadership effectiveness of a school administrator (dependent variable).
