Dusk of July 1st another brutal brawl between the feuding families of the Capulet and Montague unfolded on the streets of Verona. Tybalt Capulet and Mercutio Escalus were found dead. Since their deaths, Romeo the son of Montague has been banished. When both households came to know, they were filled with anger and grief and swore revenge against each other.…
However, in spite of the many differences, there are similarities between the two stories. Romeo and Juliet and “Teen Couple Executed by their Parents…for daring to fall in love,” both involve the deaths of the couples all happening at a young age, all of them dying before the age of 19 before any of their parents died. Throughout both stories a common factor is that the couples were forced to make adult decisions about their lives and love lives; while, the adults around them were making many poor decisions. Unlike many love stories where the strong, handsome male saves the damsel in distress, the female protagonists in both of these stories appeared to be stronger than their male counterparts. Maybe that is why when the time came, both mothers…
"Sweet, sweet, sweet nurse, tell me, what says my love?" (RJ 2.5.55) In Zeffirelli's version of Romeo and Juliet, Act 2, Scene 5, Juliet seems bratty and impatient because the nurse fails to deliver the information about Romeo as soon as she walks through the door. Luhrmann made his version more modern, and makes the characters kinder to emphasize their relationship. These movies contain some similarities and differences; they both use some of the same lines, but portray the characters in diffrerent ways and the characters wear different types of costumes.…

William Shakespeare's Romeo and juliet, is a tale about two star crossed lovers whose love is obstructed by another suitor, named Paris, as well as Juliet’s parents. and they live completely different lifes. Romeo and Juliet meet at a party and then start talking to each other and then become a couple from there. In William Shakespeare the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Romeo and juliet were in love because they are willing to die for each other, they are willing to doing anything to keep each other safe, they are in different families and are still together. Romeo and Juliet are in love because they are willing to die for each other. Romeo says,”There is no world without Verona walls but purgatory, torture, hell itself.…
Absolutely, I do think that we are in charge of our fate. Even though "destiny" and "fate" have similar meanings, they are very distinct in my opinion. Opportunities are presented to us by fate, but in the end, our choices define our fate. For example, it was fate if you met the ideal person at a party. However, your fate is in the actions you take.…
The ancient paean civilizations are not all in fact too different from the modern, maybe not in technological developments but in the human experience. One example of this could be a book of poetry found by archeologists that was written in Ancient Rome by a teenage girl named Sulpicia. It could be assumed that she was fairly young by the voice that rings through the form of the poetry. It seems more immature than that of a fully grown woman. For one thing she speaks about this wonderful man that she is obviously infatuated with, but tragically he does not know that she has fallen madly in love.…
William Shakespeare once wrote, "Better three hours too soon than an hour too late (Windsor.II.ii). " The play, Romeo and Juliet, exemplifies the true meaning of this quote. It was a tale of young lovers, who fell in love so quickly that many saw it as an infatuation, but I saw it as a story of love. They found the right person at the right time. Yes, it was earlier in life than when most people find true love, but the timing was right for them.…
For many years an ongoing feud between two families has caused so much disruption in the city of Verona, Italy. The families are called the Capulets and the Montagues, they can’t seem to get along and because of that there have been many deaths among the two families. Prince Escalus tells the two families if the feud between the them don't end, the punishment will be death. The Prince made this statement because in their fights it's never over till one die. That's when it happened, Tybalt a Capulet trying to start a fight with Romeo a Montague, Not knowing that Juliet a Capulet just married Romeo which made the families one big family.…
The Prince concludes the play with this statement to remind everyone what has happened because of the feud. It demonstrates the tragic outcome of the irrational hatred between the families and states that there would be no other story more sad and tragic than Romeo and Juliet. Even though he didn’t go in depth as to who, the Prince also states that some will be punished and some will be pardoned. The line, “some will be punished” shows that the Prince is not willing to let this go and wants to teach everybody a lesson about unnecessary hatred and rival and the consequence.…
When one thinks about forbidden love words such as excitement, exhilaration, passion and romance come to mind suggesting a happy narrative, yet the forbidden love written of in my two stories delivers a very different outcome.…
Romeo and his parents don’t interact very much. Romeo is a very independent, self-kept person. He doesn’t really involve his parents in anything he does. One example is when Romeo’s heart get’s broken by a girl named Rosaline and Romeo kept crying about it. Romeo’s friends and father were talking and his father said… :”Both by myself and many other friends, but he his own affections counselor, is to himself, I will not say how true, but to himself so secret and so close, so far from surrounding and discovery, as is the bad bite with an envious worm. Ere he can spread his sweet leaves to the air, or dedicate his beauty to the sun. Could we but learn from when his sorrows grow we would as willingly give cure as know” Romeos…

What people value the most may become apparent in everyday business and communications. As individuals and leaders we have a moral responsibility to those we influence on a daily basis. We must take into consideration how we interpret our own values and how those values impact others. According to Robbins and Judge (2007, p. 121), questioning our values may result in change. Managers are responsible for the well being of the employee, the customer, and the organization as a whole. We have to follow the same codes of conduct that we expect employees to follow. We have to be responsible and accountable for our actions. How well we manage an organization depends upon how well we know our roles and responsibilities.…
