Thesis Statement For Dying To Be Free
Narrative Essay Title: “Dying To Be Free”
Working Thesis: “I thought I wanted to die when in reality I just wanted to be saved”

When thinking of a turning point to write about for my narrative essay the first idea that came to mind was my attempted suicide. This was the most prominent event in my life and the biggest lesson I ever learned. Writing on this topic brings back so many memories but yet it makes me value how far I have come. Now my reasoning behind my working thesis statement is the realization that dying wasn’t the only way out. During my childhood I struggled immensely with self-esteem, physical abuse, mental abuse, and unresolved feelings about being a foster child. And that struggle was so great that I just wanted it to end
