First, eating right is not about avoiding fatty foods, cutting down on caffeine and taking out an expensive gym membership. It just means that you should consider how certain foods will affect your body. Plan and stay in control of your eating habits, don’t eat anything heavy after six o’clock in the evening. Eat in moderation do not gorge yourself, and then skip a few meals to make up for it. Keep things in proportion, such as maybe eating a light healthy breakfast and lunch, and then having a slightly heavier food for dinner. Therefore, you will not become hungry in the middle of the night and there is room for a light snack such as fruit. Remember this doesn’t mean that you have to become a health food nut, it is simply a way of having control over you food intake.
Second, exercising regularly is another important part to a healthy lifestyle. You should exercise a minimum of 3 days a week for about 20 minutes. This does not mean that you have to have a strict regiment of exercise in your daily schedule. An easy way to attain a nice amount pf physical activity would be to begin going for walks with a friend or even a pet. It is also good to stretch before you begin any kind of exercise. Stretching enables you to do more than you would without stretching. When you do not stretch before you exercise joints grow less flexible over time. Less flexibility means less range of movement in your daily life, like bending down or twisting to pick up something.
